In a New Zealand-first Harbourside has installed a dining Igloo on its terrace, available exclusively for diners over winter. This luxurious, warm Igloo is resplendent with a chandelier, fairy lights, floor rugs, heating, candle light and luxe velvet dining chairs. Guests to the Igloo can enjoy a special ‘Dining Under The Stars’ four course menu at $125.00 per person or an eight course Ultimate Seafood Degustation at $165.00 per person while star gazing and taking in the magical night vista across Auckland harbour. Bookings are essential and can be made for two or up to eight guests.
Hungry, Devour freshly shucked Bluff Oysters and a Sashimi selection of locally caught fish are choices on this special menu along with Grilled Queensland Black Tiger Prawns, Grass-fed Eye Fillet and Seared Duck Breast.
The eight-course Ultimate Seafood Degustation is a seafood lover’s dream come true. Oysters, Clams, Paua, John Dory and Snapper are all on the menu. For dessert, there’s white chocolate cheesecake served with mixed berries, raspberry gel and sorbet lemon foam. Drool. There is an option to add carefully selected Wine and Vintage Champagne matches from both local and international vineyards.
