While Harbourside Ocean Bar & Grill welcomes individual patrons, we provide an even better venue for functions and groups. The elegant red-brick exterior sets the tone for your event, the magnificent ocean views provide the perfect backdrop, and the food is superb.
Main Dining Room & Bar
Indoor seating for 150 is available, with an additional 80 seats on the covered deck. The bar can accommodate 60 seated guests or up to 140 cocktail (standing) guests. A variety of menus is available, or you can customise your own. Patrons have booked the Main Dining Room for everything from cocktail parties to conferences to weddings.
Harbour Room
The Harbour Room features the same spectacular harbour views, and seats 50. On request, we can accommodate larger numbers by opening the Harbour Room onto the main restaurant. For private occasions, the room can be enclosed. Air conditioning and AV facilities make this the perfect choice for meetings, conferences, or presentations.
Harbour Deck
The covered, all-weather deck provides seating for 80. Here, patrons are protected from the elements, but it can get a little chilly; if this happens, outdoor heaters are provided. We can also partition off sections of the deck at your request. Our patrons have used the Harbour Deck for cocktail parties, product launches, or other corporate events. Set, a la carte, or customised menus can be provided on request.
The Q Room
If you want to host an even smaller group (up to 15 guests), the Q Room is just what you need. The view is towards Quay Street, not the harbour, so more work can get done here with fewer distractions. It’s perfect for small meetings and conferences, or intimate dinners for small parties. The room is fully air conditioned; and, in addition to the AV facilities, a television is available for you if needed.
